THe rise of indian weightlifters and field sports from mediocrity to a slightly respectable position at the asian level is not the effort which goes into sport but a reminder of the deceit and cleverness of a few individuals who use their skills off the filed rather than on it. These mental games and bend it like beckham kinda thinking will not fool anyone who has the most advanced and fol proof equipment.
Are we using these sportspeople for aplotical advantage. ITs not done. A society stands on morals , values and honesty.A mediocre sportsman who has qualities is better than a winner who wins through deceptive means.isnt that what sport is about?not about winning but playing in the right spirit .
