There are many events at the Olympics, World and Asian Meets for which we need to groom participants from our Armed Forces. Most of our Cantonment areas have very decent practice facilities which could be updated and also be made available for practice for deserving civilian sportspersons of the vicinity. We need to launch in the direction of medals with the utmost committment and preparation right from now on.
If there is one field where we have the natural talent then its Chess where we can strike Gold. Dear president, Kindly do whatever is possible to promote chess in our country. Already there are a lot of youngsters with potential to become world champions like Sasikiran, Harikrishna, and Koneru Humpy. I fervently wish that their talents go unwasted. And the IT companies have to come forward to promote the game and the players. If possible the govt also. Earlier Mr. Chandrababu Naidu was doing something like promoting the WorldCup at Sanghi Nagar, if am not wrong. No doubt we already have two good players from that state like Humpy and Harikrishna. Its our duty to see that none of players potentials go wasted. I have spoken to my company also to promote these players.
