Of wine's dubious intellectual effect ...

OK so ... drinking wine(even if its cheap stuff from last fall) makes you a connoiseur and also instantly gives you an ability and authority to say manchester-arsenal games aren't upto the mark ? Sounds funny considering the fact that the wine you want us to uncork is for a matchup that was in its last incarnation dull and produced only a solitary goal. And all the talk about ronaldinho's grace and maldidni's grit( no disrespect to either player intended) doesn't make up for the fact that the two sides respect each other too much to truly go for it. That wasn't the case in the manutd-arsenal game ... we truly saw two teams giving it everything and fighting as if for dear life. And lets not forget that you were comparing a premiership game to a champions league one , hardly a fair comparison though i still think both games have an equal interest.
And finally ... i simply don't understand the manchester united bashing that seems to go on everywhere. I read the reviews before watching the game and was amazed that arsenal (who were crying foul) returned as much as they recieved . Their lamenting from a higher moral ground did not have any justification from their on-field actions.
