lousy performance
by k.shravan kumar on Jun 30, 2004 10:26 PM

indian hockey is going to dogs. it is the only team in world which enters the field with negative frame of mind.starts defensively and loses heavily in the end.its high time that kps gill and rajinder singh resign and draft in foreign coach like in cricket othewise a day will come where teams like afghanistan and mongolia will defeat india in hockey.

well done pakistan!
by sandesh on Jun 30, 2004 06:07 AM

Good game. Is this enough for the Indian team to awake them from their slumber? or do they need more shunting. All credit to poorly funded, and less euipped, but hard-working pakistani team.May our team start seeing their own mistakes, not too late yet.

DISGUSTING!!!!
by Sandeep on Jun 30, 2004 03:06 AM

i cancelled many appointments to watch the game, and i ended up being completely disgusted with myself for having done that. Its ok if the opponents are too good, but pakistan have just been thrashed 0-6 by germany.instead of utilising this opportunity, the indians have put up a shameless display. they couldnt stop, they couldnt pass, they couldnt run. there was absolutely no co-ordination and no game plan. kanwalpreet singh and bimal lakra find a place in the team despite being such a liability. and dhanraj is bereft of ideas! one wonders where is sandeep michael, len aiyappa, tejbir singh and baljit saini. and that sandeep singh is no better than a roadside hockey player. even the talented gagan, deepak thakur and devesh chauhan were pathetic. the defence is clueless, and i guess it cant get better unless jugraj is back. i really feel, they should do away with wasters like dhanraj, baljit singh dhillon and dilip tirkey to entertain any chance of gettin a medal in the olympics.

Reason

Teams defense and mid-field are most important and they were weak today. Dhanraj Pillay dont fit into the Indian side.

Shame
by Anand on Jun 30, 2004 01:37 AM

Hi All,
this is real shame for indian hockey, we are not against losing, because winning and losing is a part of game, but the margin in which they have lost is real shameful, GUYS leave all your personal rivarly and play like a team, GUYS you are all representing our Nation, so guys pull up your socks and give best. We know that we have the best players in the world, perform guys we need to see the best of INDIAN team.. so guys leave all your personal differences between yourselves and play like as test.

Pakistan trounce India - Real shame
by Abhinay Kumar on Jun 30, 2004 12:43 AM

Its high time the super cop should release the hostage(hockey). He has goofed up every time the team was palying good hockey. In name of experiment he has destroyed hockey. I wonder if there is any way to remove such inefficient sports administrators.
Once again shame on you Mr. KPS Gill.
