What genetics has to do with sports business
by rajesh BHARATI on Jun 17, 2004 05:04 AM

A million dollar is merely a years' salary of a NHL/NBA player. Sports is a big business and there is loads of money come with it.

Indian wealth creators should focuss this field too.

Genetics and knowledge of vedanda is plain crap. Every white man who comes to India for business will try to learn its culture and traditions (to survice, out smart and exploit). The guy who operate MLM business in India, I bet, must be a vedic expert.

Whatever, new business will bring new ideas to India...and new opportunities for Indians to learn and start their own.

Beware, these companies should not sell genetically engineered poducts (that banned in US) in India. Our young generation should not transform into Michael Jacksons and Mutants.

My rating for this interview: 3/10.

Hindu civilization
by Reader on Jun 17, 2004 01:01 AM

"The India I know has tremendous genetic capabilities; but 700 years of foreign rule has put a dampener on it. I still believe that it is the greatest civilisation ever on this planet."

Even white people are recognizing the genius of Hindu civilization. When are Hindus themselves going to wake up?

Andrew Krieger's interview
by Amit Chattopadhyay on Jun 16, 2004 09:36 PM

Dear Mr. Krieger,

Thank you very much for coming up with so much of positive faith on my motherland, something, which I, even being an Indian to the core myself, have never even dared to nurture. I can only hope that at least some of your words and dream come true. I have never come across anything so inspiring in my lifetime.

Best regards,

simply great idea to motivate the talent pool
by PRASUN on Jun 16, 2004 07:23 PM

Dear Sir/Madam,

It's quiet exciting and motivating to read the news that will in future, extract and channelize the great talent pool of India through proper training and guidance to success, thereby fulfilling the millions' dream to bring glory to India in games and sports. Mr.Andrew Krieger has rightly said that it is meaningless to expect return very soon and I also agree to his plans and programs. Indian cricket has shined and considered as one of the best just because it has been managed and trained in proper order and if this system is applied in other sports, India will be one of the best competitor in the world standard.
I would like to thank Mr.Andrew Krieger for thinking about India to uplift India in World Stage bringing smiles to millions. I think Mr.Andrew has taken the right decision at right time in tapping the niche of Indian games and sports that is presently in disarray.
I wish good luck to his endevour.
