Hats off to whoever , including the two Olympic commitees , thought of the brilliant idea !! I just cant wait to see the Punjab Games start and be successful. I also have another idea of my own - which would maybe take longer to be realised , but nevertheless would make the Punjab gGames an even bigger event! WHY NOT MAKE THE PUNJAB GAMES AN EVEN BROADER EVENT BY LETTING PUNJAB BORN ATHLETES TO PARTICIPATE ON BEHALF OF OTHER COUNTRIES LIKE CANADA , USA , ENGLAND ETC ETC. I sure would like to represent Canada in the Punjab gGames . Hopefully a lot of games will also be included like tennis , swimming , cricket , squash etc that may not be part of the usual Punjabi sporting tradition. It would be a dream come true and I cant wait for a start to the Punjab gGames .... with teams from India and Pakistan , later extending to multi-national participation.
We wish our two Asian giants all the very best in the joint ventures. Hosting the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Afro-Asian Games, Cricket World Cup, Olympics and the Football World Cup is part of our modest dream !
