Good Move
by Daniel Naveen Bethapudi on Jul 17, 2004 10:50 AM

it's about time the government got it's basics right and I'm glad that the congress government is taking some bold steps. One must remember that popular moves are not always for the overall good of the people...naidu is famous for this.

not a good move
by Abhinav on Jul 16, 2004 05:44 PM

Mr naidu was always into the development of the state and not to destroy the prosperity of the common man. If he had made a bid for the formula 1 to come to India ,he never made a mistake. Formula 1 is also an important event to promote tourism in the country. thus, it is not a good move by the government of AP.

Walking backwards..
by simha on Jul 15, 2004 10:47 PM

The retrograde steps starts here. All the government has to do is to facilitate and acquire land and that would have put Hyderabad on the world map, created lots of jobs, make it a tourist destination.
These Congress Joker YST knows how to squander a opportunity. They are saying Naidu Wasted money by visiting Italy for getting the F1 project! How do u he bagged Microsoft, Volkswagen and other major projects. These guys even know what needs to be done to get something.
SInce Naidu is out of power, no one talks of development in AP, its just mayhem -killing of political rvials, stalling big projects etc.., telengana, rayalaseema separation struggle..
Back to OLD DAYS!
GOD SAVE AP..

Totally ridiculous government
by Ritesh Agarwal on Jul 15, 2004 08:20 PM

This is highly ridiculous. Naidu was not a fool or a stupid guy. He might not have been pro-poor but he was always pro-development which helps the country in the long run. The inclusion of Indian Track in the Formula one circuit would have had a profound impact on India's development as did the Asian games in 1982 at Delhi. This brings in a lot of foreign moolah but one has to be patient. In the name of pro-poor policies this government wants to carve another niche among the poor people getting all the votes they want. But what happens next. Country's development still sucks. Instead of going for the long term planning they just want to complete their 5 yrs peacefully. It's all about cash, all about money, money suckers that these people are.
