schumi is the demi-god of f1. he is the best and unbeatable.and 4 people who say that its because of his car then they r wrong. remember schumi has won the championship in a benetton. he is not a driver wh o drives fast but a driver who drives technically & tactically. he knows when 2 push and outshines the rest. for me he is god and a perfect idol . i always wanna drive like him but cant do it coz he is the greatest and simply the best of all times. hats off 2 schumi. infact their is no driver in this world 2 challenge him 4 the championship . infact the driver who finishes 2nd should consider himself a winner coz thats the maximum he can do. and sorry 4 that
In 1994/95 Schumacher was World Champion despite not having the best car. He beat Senna and Hill who had the better car.
In 1996 Schumacher had a real slow and unreliable Ferrari and he still came 3rd in the standings.
From 1997 to 1999 he had a lot of bad luck: An accident in the last race in 97 cost him his Championship. In 98, a stall start from pole position and a late puncuture in the last race cost him his Championship. In 99 a brake failure in Silverstone made him miss 6 races and that cost him his Championship.
And so he has always beaten Jacques, Hakkinen and Irvine.
Mika and Jacques know very well that if it wasn't for Michael's bad luck from 1997 to 1999 they would have never ever dreamed of being crowned World Champions.
From the year 2000 his badluck has come to an end and so he has been beating Montoyo and Kimi, who always think that they are the better F1 driver than Michael.
Michael worked hard with his Ferrari team and made Ferrari a better car. And so he now deserves to win every single race.
It is silly to compare Schumacher with Senna. Senna was a great driver, there's no doubt about that but he was never as good as Schumacher. In 1994(the year of Senna's death), Senna hadn't won a single race. Also it isn't fair to say that Schumacher wins because of the Ferrari car. That logic applies to Senna too who drove McLaren which was the most technologically advanced car at that time. Schumacher is way over all the present bunch of drivers purely coz of his exceptional talent. Barrichello drives the same car and is a good driver, but is unable to beat him. If u leave aside jokers like Montoya, the rest of the field has talented guys like Button and Alonso who also drive very good cars. Its just that Schumacher is the best driver ever, so he he ahs won every race of this season except Monaco(thanks to the aforementioned joker).

SENNA AND PROST DROVE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CAR IN ALL OF F1 HISTORY - McLaren/Honda (won 15 of 16 races) the other race, ironically was won by a Ferrari. I think it was 88 or 89 season.
and u guys have the GALL to say Senna dint have machinery worth his talent? THAT GUY SWITCHED TEAMS JUST SO HE CUD LAY HIS HANDS ON THE FASTEST MACHINERY AVAILABLE and all thru Senna'a years it was McLaren/Honda and Williams/Renault that dominated. It was cos of the McLaren/Honda Domination that prompted Pit Stops - they were re-introduced somewhere in the early 90's.

Schumi's talent is not questioned. But as a driver, Senna was far better than him. Now, that Schumi has a good car means he keeps on winning races. As Alonso told in Magny-Cours, that as Ferrai have to worry little abt reliability they could think of going 4 stop strategy. How much will be the brilliance in driving account for this? Now a days, the real brilliance in driving is hard to see.. There are hardly any overtaking maneuvers..Even if some over taking happens that would be by the mistake of one driver and not by the brilliance in driving of other..
Shumacher is the brilliant and is best supported by the mechanics and the strategies that they adopt are the best ever in the field of Formula 1 which is said to be the best among the motor races over the years, I do not understand why they want to go back to the 60's with the Car reliability falling down other than the fantastic Ferrari which has built up over the years and proudly says that it is one of the best among the years to come and will undoubtedly remain on the top which it is at the moment.

I laugh at your ignorance. Have you seen Senna drive? Dont talk about things when you base your opinions from articles written by amateur f1 posers. Sure Schumacher is an excellent driver with immense control and deep knowledge of the car's mechanics. But when his opponents had cars which could match upto his car's technology he could not drive to beat them. Case in point the years when Damon Hill and JV won F1. I'm not taking props away from Schumi, but he aint the best driver ever. When Senna and AP were driving in similar cars, Senna easily and comfortably beat AP one of the best drivers of his generation. Schumi will no doubt be hailed as one of the greatest drivers but a lot of credit will go to the car than the driver.

Senna died unfortunately in 94... the year MS came on to his own... a lot of well informed people do admit that his error at Imola that cost him his life was due to the fact that MS was pushing him too hard that year and he had not one a single race.
Its not fair to compare two greats when they have actually not fought it out over a few seasons. MH had DC as his lapdog the way RB today is for MS. MH was also driving the best car on the grid in 98-99 and a major part of 2000. Still MS went on to beat him and take the WDC that year. He took a sabatical (and eventual retirement) as he found out that the 2001 Macca was not good enough to beat MS.
