Congratulations to Luis Figo and his gallant men for their impressive win in the Luso-Neerlandico clash at the Jose Alvalade stadium. Coach Luis Felipe Scolari has moulded the team well and it was fitting that such an unit will figure in the finals of the Euro 2004 on home soil. The Dutch team played well in patches but Luis Figo led his team from the front right from the word go silencing one and all. Dick Advocaat who has coached the Dutch National team for fifty five matches during two stints did well to take the current team to the semi-finals. Dick is a lovely human being and we wish the coach and his team further successes in their future campaigns.
