Can you rediff guys enlighten us how this Gill continues inspite of insipid performance of our team? His committee continues to drop players either for performance or attitudes or any such reason - while, this guy continues as if it IHF is his fiefdom!
The lost against Pak was absolutely disgraceful , shameful. Now Indian Hockey team should not complain about the lack of funds , they have good sponsors , its just that they cant perform and we shouldnt keep any hope from our team in Olympics.
indian team performance for the third place playoff against pakistan is disgraceful,digusting and shameful.all the teams play with eleven players but indian team always plays with seven players as there are too many liabilities on the field. unecessary overdribling by players like vikram pillay,ignace tirkey and baljeet singh dillon near the indian circle and losing posession of the ball which results in penalty corner and eventually into goal.even god plays for the indian team, the result will be same.shame on kps gill and coach for ruining indian hockey
The internal politics of IHF has found one casuality - the Indian hockey. The coach Rajinder singh has effectively dismantled the Indian team in the name of experiments. Agreed, experiments are needed but not at the time they did. The global politics has found another casuality - the asian hockey. It is ridiculous to change the rules (which is clearly going to favour the European teams) just three months before the Olympics.
Rajender Singh with his primitive and orthodox approach is hell bent on destroying indian hockey.He should be sacked immediately and a person of calibre of Rick Charlesworth appointed coach of India.
in the rabobank field hockey tourney at holland india was not played well because of consequtive rules change by the FIH and the adiministration changing the rules to favour of the european countries and at the time of match between india VS germany the umpire gave many decisions infavour of india so the players psycholigicaly affected by the decisions if the FIH cannot stop this type of wrong rule changes it will lead to kill the nature of the game .
Three successive defeats are great news for Gill ji and our indian hockey coach singh sahib.
This is one of tragedy with us, indian people whenever somebody among us try to perform good at international level ,we just started to pull his legs and try to let me down.
May be one day we understand that sometime its good to act for our country and honour our heros like pillay not try to degrade them
The team's morale has definitely reached rock bottom thanks to the incompetent coach. The coach Rajinder Singh is a rotten influence on the players having brought the divide between players from North and South. I wonder if there are any good players selected from the South in the first place. Rajinder was hell bent on Dhanraj's exclusion and is interested in players exclusively from his home state of Punjab. Rajinder Singh is such a fool because he is the loser with his childish attitude. It is too late to change the coach now. It looks like India will finish 11th or 12th among the 12 teams participating in Athens. Also the players are paid miserable wages like coolies and have no incentive to win at all. Overall the team is not that bad as the results suggest but the coach and the ridiculous monetary compensation are the main culprits.
It did not make any sense from the first day that I learnt that the entire Hockey entourage was conditioning in USA!!!! Of all the countries...Hockey is not even played there man...they don't even know what field hockey is...they only know ice hockey. But well...while there might not be enough for feeding people in our country, there is a lot to feed on taxpayer's money. The Babus somehow showed the sports ministry dreams of a glittering gold and the ministry obliged. I am sure the entire team had a honeymoon in US....
