What's wrong with people

What's wrong with them? When you have a good hospital nearby, what was to the need to go to Hosmat which is almost 2 kms away (in that traffic, it is more than 2 kms)? I can understand that they have some arrangements/agreements with hospitals for treatment. But when the situation is critical, you should always consult nearby doctor. For me it looks like a lack of commonsense.

We as a country intend to steamroll into the 21 century with all the latest in technology except in Emergency Medicine. When will the organisers and doctors learn that human life is precious and in emergencies all the required equipment and qualified personnel and planned drills are a must and should be on alert. It is a farce to state that an "Ambulance" was available but was delayed in the traffic. It is a blot on the organizers and the city hosting it.

I seriously believe that there was a long delay ,and a total lack of professionalism in providing medical assittance to junior who you report 'collapsed'( though we have seen physical contact between the goalkeeper paul and junior that did appear purposeful with intent to hurt!)
we saw an ambulance standing by...were there trained para medics who administered first aid ? why was there so much time wasted on the field when one could feel the enormity of the situation even while viewing the episode on television? was the ambulance equipped to handle this type of a case? why is it that the organisers of all these major events lay so little importance in tackling tragic unforseen incidents like these?
It is imperative that this who matter is thoroughly investigated and the guilty punished ...and that includes the erring goalkeeper, unorganised organisers, and also teams that do not have their own expert medics, who would have been able to advise proper first aid in the first place.
