Truly a silver lining in the bleak sky. A Salute to the grit & hard work of the Major, which seems to be an individual effort which could withstand the forces of the Indian burocracy system. Hope he wins more laurels for the coountry in future.
Rathore needs to see many brave young men and women following him not only in Olympics, shooting but in all sports events. We just got a break, now it is time to achieve"Come on India dikha do". And yes I strongly beleive that military training in any way is a must for character building. Yes a national charecter.
I think we should stop imitating he west. It is this philosophy that puts us behind. What rathore has shown is to believe in himself and the mental toughness. All indians have it, but they lack the belief.
Rathore........ You proudly give India, being a olympic nation. The 100crore people are with u to get a Gold for our Golden India,in the next olympics. regards..........regards
I take this oppurtunity to congratulate Rathore for his silver medal.Fantastic. But to me India's mission will be accomplished only if it gets a medal in hockey because the administrators invested more for hockey training and coaching than for any other olympic events. I hope rathore's medal would boost them to win a hockey medal.
Rathore may have done very well. But it is still a one off effort by a determined individual. We need the sports minister to start a concerted management plan to develop a team of shooters, footballers, athletes etc.
