Dear Raj, You have done the Army and the country Proud. KEEP IT UP. We are sure that you will get the GOLD MEDAL for the country in next Olimpics. GOD BE WITH YOU. GREETINGS. -LT COL G I Balakrishnan(Retd)
firstly i am very glad to see the name of india in the list of olympic medal winning countries.nowdays the younger players are the winners of hard fought and close matches.they outplay the experienced.we can see few examples here.andre agassi has not won a single masters or any.you can see the master tendulkar change his game drastically compared to the earlier stages.you can see the young russian girls(not women)outplay the 2 year wimbledopn champion serena in the finalsd of the wimbledon.or you can see mario ancic who outplayed the home favourite tim henman in the semifinals.(remember he played brilliantly against andy roddick).so its very hard toplay in any level if yuou are ageed around thirty.as days go by the level of competition is at its peak and the experienced players have no chance to survive.but one cannot take away the birth of few legendary players (pete sampras, martina navratilova, roger federer, todd woodbridge, sachin tendulkar, sunil gavaskar, wasim akram, maurice greene, pele, zidane)
We are glad that someone has finally stood up for India. It is sad to see a token announcement of some eleven lakh and a house, when the cricketers get a few crores for losing consistently, when it comes to crunch time. I would suggest that we take a few crores out of the huge amount of undeserving money lying with the Cricket Control Board and giving it you. Today, Sir, you deserve it more than the cricket team of today, put together. Cheers and May God bless you.
