What happened if malleswari could not finish. She had back pian from several days. But here a big question is that what for big contingent of management and official are there. Just for picnic or something else. Why they could not know if there was a fitness problem to our biggest hope for the medal. I think it a very serious lapes and official should be under investigation. They are just there for making the thing better and not for posing the drama like this. Another big question for our selectors and think tank is that if players are not performing owing to so called resons (any reson) why they are permitted repeatedly to making such type of joke. it is not the first time in this olympic. First it is our senior boxer who just backed out becuase of some injury from a winable situation. What to say about Bahuder Singh. All three throws counted as "No Throw". Why he is allowed to participate if he is not accurate enough. Perhaps our selectors do not know that olympic games are topmost event and not the joke as they made it. Perhaps every Indian will be agree with me that there is no deficiency of talent but it is the curruption and non seriousness of our responsible person (s).
definitely they have gone just to have fun at Athens! they are not serious and not focused at all. If she knew she had medical problems, she should have let others to participate. this way the old winners only bring up the hope in the country people and then they play with the sentiments like not starting only.
though it was clear from the begining that all the hype created by media and sports authority that India will surprise others, is just useless talk. India do surprise me that with a population of more than 100 crore india is not able to win a single gold. its is really disguting. what preparations they make!? it's the same story repeted every year. why India send such a big team. send only those who are capable of wining. it's very insulting. olympics is not a stage for experimenting, the world is watching. its a request to the govt to invest more money and also check that the money is utilised. India should be among top 5 nations atleast in the medal tally, but we are just too happy with a single silver or bronze. Hope God will give some wisdom to the concerned peoples.
it's surprising that, for such a prestigious event - we are sending our REPRESENTATIVES - who are not fully fit, and the fact that they go all the way upto GREECE and realise the same, is quite bewildering!!!

IS playing in olympics some kind of juvnile joke. People train for 4 years and then do not participate. why is this happening. If a person had some medical problem then he/she should state these things clearly. If you are training for four years then you should know when the back is hurting and when it is not. You might have trained a day earlieror two days back and did not feel a thing. So suddenly when your are lifting the weight you feel the pain. There is something seriously wrong with the way indian olympics association functions. There needs to be a thorough check and inquiry into this matter
Whats happening here? Indias only medal hopes are not participating for some Back injuries.. I mean the Olympics suddenly has become a joke for India.. oops it always was!
