hockey, has become .......... I cant come up with any name, but yes I know our players are not different from all other Indians. we cant fight like warriors today to save our grace, we tend to relax easily and leave everything upto god and blessings.
he is up there, our blessings too are with you all, butthe will, the kill and the quality of skill is missing in all of us, why blame one for it.
We Indians need to grow a new breed of childrens which have that physical strength like our opponents, strategies like no ther has, back-up plans, facilities and will to kill only then we can excell in any field.
Indians have to grow up.

India did play good hockey. If this level is kept up and forwards are determined to score, our chances are bright. Best of luck. Our prayers are with you.

olympic hockey

hi,
dhanraj is a good player we all know and he is a good fighter also,
in our first match i will not blame him but first the stategy to keep him as full forward, he should have played as a midfielder as he he the only player who can snatch the ball back from opponents and make a positive move to forward it to fron liners.
second it was the individual game, especially baljit singh is too selfish , he does not know team game and he should be immediately dropped .
onyly three players, dhanraj, delip tirkey andgagan ajit sinh looked better and skilled rest others have to work hard,
thanks
arvind

Gear up Dhanraj. Nation has high hopes from you and the team. We like to see the real team spirit, which was bit lacking in the opening match. We are sure team will do its best in the coming matches.
Good luck for the rest.

Come on maan enough of you cliched excuses.
Everytime you guys lose, and that happens almost all the time, have only excuses to offer.
Stop giving excuses and produce some results or pack your bags!

by Anil Mishra on Aug 17, 2004 03:32 AM

Common Dhanraj how many times would you and your team let our country down. Since 1980 the same story is repeating, losing first match and then tournament .Now its useless to hope win from Indian Hockey
