India's pure failure of defence. India did not had the confidence at all. How can they fail on the Independence day. India lacked the determination to win.
Ha Ha Ha. I have watched the entire match. Indians were completely POOR in all the departments. It was not that Holland deserved to be the winners, it was that Indians deserved to be defeated from the word go.
If the latest Rediff poll is any indication, we Indians are as far removed from reality as humanly possible.
Polls suggest that majority of participants actually believe that India can bag 10 medals!
My fellow desis, wake up & smell the coffee - athleticism is not in our blood. Milkha Singh & PT Usha have been recognised by the country for finishing 4th! Find me a seriously competing nation that even recognizes a non-medallist?
Only difference between these athletes & the boys in blue is the competition pool - trust me, if more people played the Lord's game, India would be choking much earlier than at the finals. Then again, it may not be such a bad thing to not delay the inevitable.
