We have the right to celeberate the victory. But please dont overdo it. That has been India's problem for a long time. The more you praise the team, the more you celeberate, the more deeply the team members go into the complacent mode. The next thing you will see is that, they will finish last in the next major international tournament. And then you will see that nothing will make them "bounce back". Please dont delude yourself into believing that India has some inborn greatness as far as field hockey is concerned. What has been achieved is the result of spirited hard work. Please dont make them squander it away by overconfidence and complacency.
If the coach thought it was a small gift for the Martyrs of Kargil, he is totally mistaken. What bigger or better gift, a Sports Team can give? It is the Greatest gift our Hockey Team can give to the Martyrs, considering it is always Pakistan who is master minding or provocating war against India.
Yes. Indians can (must) always win against Pakistan in field or match, provided there is no interference from our ALROUND POLITICAL PLAYERS like Lalloos who can just give away KHELRATNA awards to the Children of CMs & other Politicians, just because they do not know the spelling of Cricket, Hockey, Football or much less Batter (batsman) Bowlman (bowler) etc.
Keep it up Indian Players all thru, all games particularly where Pakistan wants to shwo their supremacy.

While I am among the very few in the country like you who pray every time India has a Hockey match, I can't undersyand the rationale behind linking our border disputes and sports. For me a victory against Pakistan is no more or less important than any other country. Rather I pray that one day we will give the Europeans a good trashing
