hockey teams of both men's and women's have made india proud. so if at all we are going to honour our teams, it shud be for both men's and women's team. anything done otherwise is not going to send any correct message to all of us hockey fans. our aim shud b to re-establish hockey as a game.
Indian Hockey! Magic it is! Indian Players! Wizards they are! The Indian Hockey team has given us some sweet championship victories in the last couple of years and made us all very proud Indians.They are worth every penny of the One Lakh and more.With sheer talent and hardwork the players won laurels for our cricket crazy nation and forced us take note of a sport, we supposedly call, The National Sport. Friends, isn't the time ripe for us to broaden our horizons and enjoy other sports as well ? Let us break the cricket shackles and embrace other sports. We have great champs like Leander, Dhanraj, Bhutia, Anju George, Gopichand, Abhinav Bindra, Malleswari, V Anand,the list goes on. India enjoys a spot on the global sports map because of them and never ever because of our eleven DEMI-GODS,read,INDIAN CRICKET TEAM.Sachin can never bring home an Olympic Gold which matters more than a cricket world cup! Let us make India a top and true sporting nation. The goal is far and the path is tough, be we all know, it is never impossible. We need a plan, a vision that can take us there. And more than anything else these sports need patronage and support. Make India a champion in the true sense
