World ranking shows Anand is placed at no. three, behind Kasparov and Kramnik. Despite prevailing over Kramnik quite a number of times, Anand is inexplicably behind him in the ranking. I think the ranking system is faulty. Over the years, Anand with his steady play, proved that he is the ideal successor to kasparov and a match between these two great players should be immediately arranged, where I am sure, Anand will defeat him and will be the undisputed no. 1 in the world.
Congrats Anand for winning this tournament and keeping the Pride of India at its peak even in Chess. you have made all Indians proud. keep going the same way and win more tournaments.
