by jatinderpal singh on Oct 06, 2003 12:47 AM

iam not satisfied from the views of dhanraj pillay as well ihf in my views mr jyotikumaran wants to be players from rest of india not from punjab even he wants coaches from rest of punjab when india was loosing at amestardam he just flash news they r looking for foriegn coach during the turnament that was totally unjustice to coach as well on players and even he knews we have to yet play wstate ith our arch rival pakistan when india won over pakistan he changed his voice even he did interviews with coaches that was not fair we have lot of skill in our coaches as well in players but we have to think about india not for your own state mr jyotikumaran ji where was you when indian team was no where on world map what did our playes untill 6/7 players was from punjab we were on top as now 6/7 players are from punjab we are again on top teams due to punjabi players but we all think that you think this team played as punjabi team so you did big drama sent maximum players from punjab you think if your new players proform well then u kick them off if they cant then u will recall that is not good for indian hockey sir be indian not only south indian we want indian hockeyontop u r think sir

Mr. Gill there goes a saying that u dont fiddle with winning combination, but i presume u havent heard or no one has said u bout it.

U should some regards for a player and a captain who has virtually revived extinct game called Hockey in india, now we have again started to satnd on gold medal podiums, but u have a rare distinction of resting players after Gold medal wins be it asiad or asia cup.
As far as rajinder singh goes i think it was blatant on the part of him to stop Dhanraj from talking with the media, why cant a gold medal winning team captain express his happiness to the indian hovkey lovers.

Anyways my advice to MR. Gill and company is that if u wish to take gold in olympics than keep Dhanraj as captain.

Quit gracefully!

Dhanraj, you have been an excellent war horse. But if you are 37 years old, you need to retire permenantly. Did you score any goals in either Champions or Asia trophy? Dhanraj because of his age could be a liability. More than that he has a serious attitude problem. So hang up your boots Mr. Pillay and let the young guns take over.

Are they victimised?

I hope it's not a fall out of spat at the Chennai airport between Pillay and coach Rajinder Singh recently over a ridiculous dictate from the coach and IHF, that player should not talk to PRESS. This is downright stupid. I can understand that players are protected before the tournament but if they are barred from enjoying and sharing their moment of glory with the countryman. This is unfair. Things will go to the dogs. KPS Gill & Rajinder singh better watch that they don't become dictators and start palying with the future of the players and the country, IHF is numro uno in this game for sure.
