This comes in an age where vulgar curiosity about a person's private life is used to gain the big bucks shows a dangerous trend of un-civilization.It is so boring to read the morbid account of a public person's private life-does not value add for the rest of humanity and sports fans who should be looking up for role models.As for the author himself the lesser said the better.That he has experienced the dark side of life by his own choice is not a matter of interest,but that he has decided to put the pen to it shows a complete apathy for all things good and inspiring.Growing up and older is about sublimating the self and waking up to the positive side of life.A troubled past which should have nudged Becker to spirituality and woken him up to the finer things in life instead has had the effect of miring his conscience negatively.He should look for other ways to make money-like champion social causes which would probably make him realise how lucky he is inspite of all his problems, instead of writing dare all bare all stories.
