Sandipan Chanda already has 2500 ELO points. The latest FIDE ranking gives him 2504 points. So he should be getting a GM title straight away. I suppose you were refering to R.B Ramesh. He got his third norm in October, is "Chennai based" and has 2466 ELO points. However he recently won a couple of titles and did very well in another and so in the next FIDE rating, he should cross 2500 and get the GM title. Pleasze confirm. Rajeev
