Ferraris victories: Great, but quite stale for F1 viewers on the other hand
by kamal niranjan on Mar 05, 2003 06:54 PM

Ferraris glorious victory in the 2002 season with their F2002 is something unbelievable but again stale. no thrill at all. Talk about the 80s, Ayrton Senna and Prost both were rivals in one car. Two highly experienced drivers competed well for the Championship where in a particular season they had a clash in Suzuka this formed a battle between them where in a particular championship Prost won 8 races and Senna 7 races (Now thats too close.) thus the championship went to Prost.
These two were not the only drivers who won each and every race they were not the only rivals between themselves but they had rivals like Nelson Picquet, Nigell Mansell and Alessandro Nannini.
Even in the 50s there were drivers like Fangio, Jose Froilan Gonzalez, where Enzo Ferrari himself was full with tears of joy as he appreciating Jose on his victory in Silverstone in 1954.
This was the foundation for Ferraris present blatant or to be precise Senior domination over other drivers.
The 2003 season might be a season full of tough competition for all the drivers.
Therefore let us wish all the drivers from a Ferrari to Minardi- ALL THE BEST.
