hi
I have come across people using "prepone" so many times in my life, but could not find that word in any standard dictionary and was told by many english professors that the word does not exist. Can you verify whether such word really exist and cite some examples.

Dear Rediff and PTI. There is no such word called Prepone or Preponement in English language, the right word for it is "Advance" or "Advanced".
