This win coming from the jrs. is absolutely fantastic. Coming a day after the seniors' victory its just the thing the doctor ordered for Indian Football. I hope its the harbinger of good times for Indian football. And hats off to our coach, his efforts are beginning to bear fruit. All the best to this young Indian team for their next match.
It is indeed quite an acheivement the the Indian youngsters were able to beat a team so well established and one among top teams in terms of proffesional football. I do believe it should raise the moral of the Indian team and improve their level of play in par with the international standards and hope more such achievements come underway, but pity that this acheivement is not highlighted on par with cricket though it is a greater acheivement than India winning a cricket match. against Autralia(not that i am against cricket I love both the games equally).
Hope it forms a good platform for Indian youngsters to be recognized and be selected into foreign clubs and increase the overall standard of INDIAN FOOTBALL.
