Hey this is really great, many Indians right up there in the semis ,qf's and finally in the finals. This shows that Indians are equally competent in Tennis and have the potential to dominate a game that has not been theirs truly for so many decades. Kudos to the Indian contingent.
Indian Juggernut is on Roll....make way for the Indian. Its a matter of great pride that Indians are slowly but steadily bringing laurals to country. In tennis we have Leander, Mahesh and Sania, our hockey team is doing great, in chess we have Anand, our cricket team looks good too...If we can just work hard and do good in Athletics and football it will be a dream come true. I am sure that day is not far off. Great Job Leander, Mahesh and Sania........!!!!
It is heartening to know that Ms. Martina Navratilova at an age of 45 years has proved that age is not a barrier in achieving sporting feats. Congratulations to both Martina and Liander Paes for winning the Mixed Doubles Championship at Wimbledon this year.
Its a great feeling to see a 46years old partnering with a young indian managed to win the title (that seems to be the toughest game among all the grand slams). In my opinion one should continue to play as long one has confident upon one,s strenght and belief. One should not be biased by the outside factors to quit from the game. The dear odious box seating in the dark room should not be allowed to lul into imbellicity.
Best of luck to both Paes and Narvatilova for the future tournaments.
hats off to martina & paes for bringing of a victory at the wimbeldon. its is really amazing that even at 45 martina can be so agile to win a grand slam title. apna paes is ever so reliable. so three indians have won this time-paes, hesh and sania. good for our country.
congratulations!!!! Leander Paes and Martina Navratilova have done themselves and their respective countries and fans all over the world proud.they played some excellent tenis throughout the tournament.best of luck to this graet pair for their future.
