Instead of all the loud talk, is there anything we can do to help him? I propose that we start a fund to support his efforts until such time that a permanent solution is found for his situation.

I fully support your choice. I think contributions, however small, from individuals can go a long way in alleviating a lot of the pain and suffering that these wonderful sportsman of yesteryears have to bear. I wish the authors of such articles would provide information as to how these heros can be contacted.

Hi I am very much moved by the plight of the olympian. Unfortunately this story is keeps repeating for all the previous olympians. Can you send me Dung-Dung's address. One more favor. Can you tell me his family history. It says that he has 3 sons. Are they educated? Do they work? Does Dung Dung have any vices. I am asking this because before I do something for this guy I need to know if he is a true sob story.
It very unfortunate that we do not have sports policy on retired sports person. At present the whole country is talking about cricket only. Perhaps lot of attention goes to cricket, including TV, PRINT etc and all major corporates are talking about cricket world cup 2003. These corporates never show their interest on other sports. It is sad that whole country is mad about cricket. Goverment should attract these corporates by giving some sops for other sports .
Is there any fund that can be set up to disburse aid to the few players who have one medals for our country. Could someone give me Sylvanus Dung Dung's address. Thanks, Aditya
