I understand that Bernie and his men are extremely keen to make the sport competitive. However, in doing so, they might end up killing it in some ways. A key aspect of the sport is strategy. Teams are trying to outthink each other all the time. and thats one of the most interesting aspects of the sport, which otherwise just involves a bunch of cars going round and round a track 70 or 80 times. In ensuring that Ferrari has competition, the FIA is killing one of the sports most interesting aspects.
I think that these crazy rule changes made by the FIA are taking things a little too far.Sure Ferrari dominated the 2002 season winning 15 out of 17 races.That does not mean that all of a sudden there should be changes made to turn the entire sport upside down.As if McLaren didn't dominate the 1987 season? Formula 1 boring?No way!
