Scrabble Game-Fantastic Word Power Empowerment
by Prashant Akerkar on Mar 18, 2003 10:38 PM

Dear Sir

I am a Indian working as a IT Professional.

We Indians speak different Languages because of our
rich culture, tradition and Heritage. Tomorrow if we
had to design, develop & manufacture this game in our
regional languages for example : Sanskrit,Hindi(Our
National Language),Marathi,Gujarathi,Tamil,Malayalam
...etc

what is the approach of manufacturing a scrabble game in our very own Indian Languages ?

Is this possible or Feasible from our end to manufacture this game in our regional languages.

I Feel this game is fantastic in terms of improving
one's vocabulary and enpowernment in one's language.

We would love to have this game manufactured in our
Indian Languages.

Pls give me the Feedback regarding this suggestion
asap.

Contact No : 91-22-28933553.

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant Akerkar

It was a wonderful experience to take part in an International Scrabble Tournament and better still to have placed 10th in the event with lots of international stars. The tournament was organised on a grand scale and hope the organisers keep it up and bring more such tournaments to India.
