Leander and Mahesh really make things look so simple. But they have really worked hard to reach this stage. They along with few Indians like Narain Karthikeyan who really make the difference as they have made a mark in sports which is not so well supported in India.
These indians and their feats, achievements should be provided more exposure for young children which will pave way more indians doing INDIA really proud

Why don't these guys set aside their differences and play as a team ? The synergy generated by these two are unbeatable - why does not someone drive some sense into their heads ?

I wish to see them teaming up and winning many more grand slams

Paes and Bhupathi truly have proven that they are a world class pair and their French Open win was no flash in the pan. Kudos to them ! Hope this goes a long way in popularising tennis in Indian youth.

They play for country
by Bhupendra on Feb 08, 2003 04:34 PM

Hats off to the duo!!!
Right now the world cup fever is on and in India, we undoubtedly praise only one game - Cricket, even though we lost the match, even though the cricketers don't play upto the mark. Even if they loose, they are going to earn handsome money. But if they are selected in Indian Squad means they are the best amongst all Indians. While they are playing, they are supposed to represent the country. Unfortunately it is not the case.
But, In tennis, Leander and Mahesh are really play for India. Even if they have some unfortunate miscommunication or some misunderstandings amongst them, when they play together you will not see a single sign of that. Because they play for India!!
Hats off to them!!!
Congratulations Leander and Mahesh. Keep it up!!!
