A POSITIVE move.

Anju Bobby George created history, India's first medal-winner at the World Championships. Congratulations to Anju Bobby George.we Indians are proud of u. And congrats to rediff.com 4 giving the highest priority, 1st news in the homepage, a POSITIVE move.

I remember Mr. president's speech: There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters. I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli Newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert land into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to.The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news. In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime. Why are we so NEGATIVE?

Congrats Rediff.com 4 the POSITIVE move.

Heartly Congratulations!!! Its high time to come up from our sick cricket mania and look at other beautiful and more skillful games too. Also especially government should raise the funds and stop giving tax waivers to cricketers. Heartly Congratulations once again, we are behind you anju, keep it up!!!
