Justice Gogoi is perhaps wishing to have the cake (retain his image of being independent consequent to his participation in the press conference by the 4 SC judges a year ago) and eat it too (escape pressure from the govt to scuttle investigations into the Rafale scam) !

I am doubting Kharge, Despite he saying Verma case on gold smugling and appointing tainted officers is substantiated he voted for Verma. So either he is under pressure of Rahul to vote against what Modi does? or congress involved in some of cases against Verma
