All types of rwservation in education / service has to stop. When mediocre persons byepass talented ones, country begins to become mediocre as a whole. Politicians dont acknowledge this in their hunger for power. I sincerely hope this 10% additiknal quota will be scrapped by the Apex court. This will be a slap on the collective faces of all pklitical parties.
Reservation has become mockery of constitution. It must be abolished now phase by phase other wise India will become 100 % reserved India.Its a funny thing now.
As envisged in the structure of the Constitution resrvations should be abolished after 10 years. India has overdone with rservations and this has kepy=t the society less integrated.
Time has come that reservations on the basis of caste or social backwardnesss or economic beckwardness should all be abolished Government of India can think of giving bonus to each Indian, say 2% 1 % and 0.5 % percent of the total revenue income in a reverse order of the avrage prcapita income ( combined rural and urban in accrdance with the socail justice structured in our constitution. If average income is say X rupees, percapita per annum ( combine urban and rulral), those having x and above x would get 0.5%, those between x and x/2 will get 1 percent and those with less than x/2 will be get 2%. Each individual has to submit a legally acceptable statement of income along with a personal declaration to face all the consequences if the income assesment be found fraudulent, to thier bankers who would pass the bonus to the accounts of the individual and the banks would claim back the expenses on disursing bonus wth their service charges from the duly assigned authority of the Governement . Alternatively a very robust software programme be developed for bonus disbursement.

After 70 years of independence caste reservation is nonsense.Every caste or tribe or religion should be given equal opportunity to prosper and compete on merit.
