Why such officers are promoted, who lack discipline and make personal ego in working. Actually immediate need is to retire all govt. employees on army pattern, where majority is retired as Lt. Col. at 50, only fit and of good ACRs are promoted as per need.

with just 20 days left and no powers, what can the poor chap do??
by BInu Joseph on Jan 10, 2019 07:00 AM

Not given any powers, and above all, will be retiring on 31st January. Is this an eyewash to prove the common man, that the courts decisions are valid now also, and democracy is still prevailing in India, and not dictatorship, and that they are not hand in glove, with the government, its decisions and orders.

you have not understood the system of our country

in our country the politicians are RAJA/MAHARAJAS
all the govt servants are their SENAPATI/SOLDIERS you can even call them slaves of politicians

the common man including me has no power except chosing lesser evil

now the job of govt servants is to keep us under control in whatever name, they make sure that we will not raise our voice against the politicians

in return the govt servants get GUARANTEE of their jobs and perks after retirements

if a common man beats up a politician or govt servant he will be behind bars immediately

if a govt servant beats up a politician he will be behind bars immediately

but
if a politician beats a common man or a govt servant nothing will happens to him

thats the harsh reality and because of this no politician (including modi) can bring in reform you are talking about.

I have not accepted whatever you have said. Why CBI chief should meet with a mischievous person like Prashant Bhushan and to take his guidance for investigation on Rafale deal .? What is wrong in Rafale deal that the party president who could not finalise deal for 10 years is now asking to probe it ?

well its the same "mischievous person" who is fighting the 2G case and he has fought so many corruption cases be it against the govt, judiciary or corporate world.

regarding rafael deal, i think you need to read about the case first before commenting on public forums.....as i have read the rafael deal controversy onwikipedia it was mentioned that in 2012 the order was awarded to dassault...

and we all know in 2014 cong lost badly

so where is the point of sitting on rafael for 10 years ?

All service problems to be settled in courts are in govt service only, even PM cannot force a peon to get compulsory retirement. Heaven will fall on India.
For a govt. job thousands apply, just to have this guarantee with Maharaja like perqs. DA linked salary and pension too. Immediate need is hire and fire policy in govt. like private sector to clean the system to ensure honesty and efficiency.
Those in govt. service should not be allowed to go to courts or strike, maximum harm is given by them only to the country.
