still enquiry report has to come out and please remember there are series of cases where judiciary has delayed the workmen died starving. not understood what was the urgency in this matter. if sc is to act effectively in labour matters as well there would be great relief. alas that won't happen becoz sc is meant for only big shots / t....r...i....s.... and not for r...a... dir..

Yes Common man, after giving a judgement on sabarimala issue and messing up the total law and order of a state, the same SC clarify the state should not use force to implement the order. Those who wants to go they can go.

This will be considered one of the major judgements upholding the independence of institutions and their selection stipulations. This is a jolt and warning to erring and over-reaching governments like Modi's

Govt. must have policy of hire and fire like private sector to bring clean image and efficiency in its working. Why tainted officers are allowed to be promoted later on or all officers must retire on army pattern where in majority of cases a Lt. Col. retires at 50.

why reinstate him when the inquiry still needs to be completed by the CVC. Also if the CBI chief cannot take decision until he is cleared by the CVC and action to be taken is by the selection committee of the govt representatives and LoP. Also his tenure is till this month end.
This judgement serves no purpose as the committee is to be called in a weeks time and decide on the fate of the CBI chief will take time of atleast 10-15 working days and there are more than 10 holidays in this month

Read the SC Order
by NEELAKANTAN R on Jan 08, 2019 12:03 PM  | Hide replies

SC had set aside the order not that it lacked merit, but only on the ground that there was a procedural error. When two senior officers were fighting the act done by the government was Right. Otherwise it would have been another case of Justice Karnan fighting with SC Judges and washing dirty linen in public.
