This is the most ridiculous way of saving the Ganga.
by janga sridhar on Jan 08, 2019 02:03 AM

This is the most ridiculous way of saving the Ganga. Build projects and keep it clean. Any way the glaciers are drying up fast. Then what will these people do, if there is no glacier to feed the Ganga. We love the river Ganga, keeping it clean should be everyone's responsibility not just the governments. This demand to keep the flow continuously is really baffling. The river Saraswathi has all but gone underground. So, do we dig it out now?

Issue of Cleaning of Ganga
by Kaushala Mishra on Jan 08, 2019 12:36 AM

Taking extreme step of fast unto death is deplorable and uncalled for. It is advisable to join main stream efforts to clean the revered river. Constructive and collective actions are need of the time. Let us play positive roles in cleaning the Ganga and we are together in this movement.

Root cause is sudden population explosion maonlm due to better health care reducing death rate.Till population stabilization is achieved we should bear these things and look for means to provide basic necessities rather than blundlb blaming government

Solution
by arungopal agarwal on Jan 06, 2019 12:56 PM  | Hide replies

Will this agitation solve Ganga issue, never. Biggest issue is unwanted population, use of chemical fertilizers in fields for cultivation near the banks of Ganga, polluting dirty water drained in Ganga etc.,
Do not think anyone has a solution, let these Sadhus work for the reasons instead of just sacrificing their life. Meaningless.

ppl these days r vultures.they run only after money.where there is huge money ;dogs will wag their tails there.why will they take interest in cleaning ganges;when they have to spend crs on it.

have ppl themselves been responsible ?.everyone wants to bathe ,do toilet;put dead bodies ,ashes in ganges etc.
industries want to dump chemical waste.when everyone is evil.like to practice evil things why blame anyone else.

pollution is what ppl like.pollution is what ppl will get.live and die in pollution thats is what ppl deserve.
