Sabrimalaya Temple Story
by Sheonandan Pandey on Jan 04, 2019 06:16 PM

Good that the duo reached to the shrine. Notwithstanding, the two made history quite incognito. I have holding good opinion about Kerala for its education. The incident of people disobeying the SC verdict has dismayed me.It speaks of literacy and education playing second fiddle to age old beliefs.QKKWY

It was a buddhist temple...
by Sudhir M on Jan 04, 2019 03:58 PM

The above article says this temple was taken over by Brahmins in the year 1990...what a blunder & rediff ready to print it.

This temple is older than the language MALAYALAM & BUDDHISM...so don't speak non-sense.

If a two activist visits a temple & its history then you all are insulting the word HISTORY itself.

Such a type of operation was expected and it happened on jan 2 early morning when people were discussing Kerala Mathal. On account of this, hartal was declared by BJP and Kerala became a battle front how much loss these two ladies have caused to the state which is already under great financial crunch. what did these two achieved, They could have waited till the SC give a vedict after the open hearing whic is coming shortly. It is all a political game which BJP, GOVERNMENT and CONGRESS are playing.Kerala has seen these type of discrimination in earlier times and over a period so many progressive changes have happened. If only Government has waited to implement the SC order, everything would have ended well.Anyway the two ladies may have to face the wrath of people at large and how are government going to protect them has to be seen

A lawyer's tribute to Supreme Court
by joseph mathew on Jan 04, 2019 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

Advocate Bindu Ammini is a professor in Law at Calicut University and a practicing lawyer. It is not correct to say that she is not a Communist. Few years back she was State Committee member of CPI(ML) according to it's Polit Bureau. This small group is always attacked by ruling CPI(M)calling them "Naxalbari'. She had worked for Communist Vidyarthi prasthanam, a student's wing also. More over she belongs to an area (Pathnamthitta) where Sabarimala is situated, although she teaches at Kozhikode. It is a fact that it is difficult to get devotees to practice gorilla technique to enter a temple, especially ones like Tripti Desai who is keen that she should dress like a film star always.

OTHER DEVOTEES
by laxmikant parmar on Jan 04, 2019 11:49 AM

AS OTHER DEVOTEES DID NOT OBJECT, MEANS NO OTHER DEVOTEES HAVE OBJECTIONS- MISLEADING CONCLUSION. AFTER 40 DAYS FAST AND EXCURSIONS EACH DEVOTEE WOULD BE CONCENTERATING ON HIS OWN PURPOSE AND NOT TOWARDS PAID BHAKTAAANIS ATTEMPT IN JOINING THE LINES.
