TRUE ANALYSIS
by c vm on Jan 04, 2019 12:25 PM

Word to Word true. Opposition in general (whether Khangrass or BJP or UPA), they should not make the Nation and its soldiers - a laughing stock . It is because of the Nation and its soldiers , they r sleeping with relief and peace. Opposition should not be an Opposition against each and every thing. They should concentrate on commonmen's problem like UNEMPLOYMENT, PRICE RISE, PUBLIC FACILITIES, INFLATION like things in pulling up the Ruling Party if erring, while leaving Crucial things like Security and Safetyetc. to the Govt.

if HAL work has been disastrous in the field of defense how can AA become a expertise in this area who has just registered as a company 10 days before they were awarded deal. Public opinion and questioning govt processes doesn't make country security weak. Its make things transparent and better. one more BHAKT author cant use his brain and question things beside writing for their masters.

Secrecy Involving National Security
by Abhishek Shridhar Mishra on Jan 02, 2019 06:04 PM

I do not think opposition should be included in National security council. With present crop of leaders who demand proof of surgical strikes and call Army chief as "Sadak Ka Goonda"/rapists etc-they do not inspire confidence. They may compromise our national security.

Dont Condemn HAL
by sabarish skandan on Jan 01, 2019 04:35 PM

The author suggests that 50% of the planes made by HAL have crashed. Where is the proof for this?
Secondly HAL has also made complex planes like MIG 29 and Mirage 2000. They were also assembled in India.
Thirdly if you invite reputed engineering groups like Tatas, Mahindra, Kirloskar, L&T, Kirloskar, Bharat Forge, TVS etc. in the realm o defence manufacture, no eyebrows would be raised. You give a contract out of the blue to a entity belonging to Anil Ambani, definitely questions would be asked.
The author should not simply criticize institutions like HAL, BEL and BEML which have been executing defence orders for decades. People pounced on Indian airlines, US 64 and the lot and see what happened.
Private Sector is to be recognozed but no carte blanche should be given to these people at the expense of institutions.

NATIONAL INTEREST ABOVE POLITICS
by Sreejith R.S. on Jan 01, 2019 04:27 PM

need of time is to have a leader /party which keeps national interest above party or individual. congress is as usual least concerned about nation and is going all out to confuse voters by saying lies aloud believing that it will convert some fence sitters atleast to vote for them, on the other hand BJP inaugurates a statue worth 3000 crores, donates money to pooja pandal in mumbai and spends countless srores in advertising the statue and swachch bharath mission but refuses to provide "just" 100 crores for national vaccination drive saying it doesnt have resources.

Col. Athale has hit the bulls eye!!!
The disastrous HAL is again touted as a Successful Organization whereas the fact is exactly the opposite!!!

And it is not about Public Sector vs Private Sector...after all ISRO(Public Sector) is doing a great job!!!

A WISH FOR 2019:

I fully agree with Col. Athawale.Vote bank politics is eating in to our constitutional strength like white ants. If this continues our constitution and country will implode and collapse.Under no circumstances can the political party interests be allowed to over-ride the National interests and National security. Our judiciary also has to be more sensitive and conservative on the issue of National security and National interest. By no stretch of imagination can anti-national slogans or anti-national activities be glossed over and condoned in the name of "Freedom of Expression"!! If the nation is gradually led to disintegration due to such activities what use will be upholding (alleged) constitutional provision in the name of "Freedom of Expression"!!

Thanks Jayant for your message. The current opposition is not fit for governance, nor is it acceptable as an opposition. We the citizens need to find a location from which there is no return for these blokes.
