Sup Court

Constitution was supreme during monarchy and feudalism too.
What has India gained by being a democracy, if a few paid people (all of whom are known to have been defending whichever client came to them, for exchange of money; some of whom are suspected to be in office because of nepotism)are going to interpret the law without any consideration for will of majority; regarding to institutions which do not belong to the state?
At the same time, they are not ready to declare the Divine Book of mutilation at its face value of written content.

D Y Chandrachud : a sensible judge
by Vijay Sahani on Sep 28, 2018 01:10 PM  | Hide replies

So far, D Y Chandrachud is proving to be a very sensible judge. All his judgements have been balanced, rational and independent.

Unfortunately, I can't say the same about CJI Dipak Misra, Kanwilkar and Sikri.

It is the same court which has not been able to give 50% laegislative seats to women....Many of Court judgemnts are understood by them only....It is incomprehensible why do they keep applying secular principles to spiritual matters.

Are those who fought for this verdict devotees of Lord Ayyappa?
by RAVICHANDER S on Sep 28, 2018 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

I would like to know whether those who hail this verdict know what devotees of Ayyappa (male or female) feel. I am sure a lot of devotees would feel about this 'discrimination' as unwarranted interference in the traditional practices of worship.

I'm sure they do. Too bad. But your right to worship cannot infringe on others right to non-discrimination. If that is permitted then _D@lits would never be allowed entry in places of worship.

DISPARITY: Still prevails wherever or whichever the religion be - Always Rich and Bureaucrats and the Power that be are being given importance in places of worships. All are dominant men made - women voices are not being heard.
