If, as a bhakt predicted, the BJP
by piri on Oct 01, 2018 09:25 AM

gets 400 plus LS seats in 2019, it should realise the dream of the RSS in scrapping the SC/ST act altogether, give respectability to the de facto feudalism (landlord tenant system) prevailing in much of North India, officially declare the Rs 120 most manual workers get per day in North India as the minimum wage (against the Rs 540 the Modi govt has announced to fool those very workers and their families), completely ban teaching of the English language for poor and middle class students, impose the kyndi language everywhere by banning the teaching of other Indian languages, further cut the already miniscule budgets for public health and education, dilute the constitution and eventually declare the constitution itself invalid and bring back barbarianism (monarchy)........!

And then, the BJP must do what it has always itched to do and has been doing in secret so far.........revoke all laws protecting the environment so that crony capitalists can savage the forests, lakes, agricultural land, mountains for big profits and keep taking big kickbacks in full public view..... !

Who will convince

Who will convince the Nilekanies of India that bodily identity is not permanent identity to be used as unique. Then we have billion of mesmerised followers of NaMo as he declared he has 56 inch chest and allowed massacre of innocent non-hindus in the name of revenge. UID should have been well thought out not what is practised in industrial identification and Sc should have outright rejected the Aadhaar to establish it is not quid pro quo in Judicial appointment.

You seem to know better than Nilenkani but there is no concrete suggestion like leftist intellectuals. What better alternative other than bodily identification? You mean to say pilferage in PDS system should have allowed to go through since there is no permanent solution? Be realistic..

Sorry I did not use any filthy words but rediff's robot made it appear so. This is the harm of machine based scrutiny and reason for our objection.

A Desperate Looser
by Manian on Sep 28, 2018 05:20 AM

In Spite of SC Verdict clearing Aadhaar here comes a mourning song of a looser. The money ear marked for poor and needy are looted by politicians, bureaucrats and police.A unique Id will enable the poor and needy to get the direct benefit. There are many benefits accruing from the unique card which would help to identify the cheaters. I would like the author to confess whether he is using a smart phone which has several apps which tracks you to every point. Just because you loose your privacy, is he not using the phone. If there are some drawbacks which is much less compared to the advantages let us take the benefit. As a country you should feel proud that you have your Id which can bring quantifiable and unquantifiable benefit to people.Let us accept and move on

Aadhar

Still mourning death of their petitions. India is sovereign and government has every right to get information of Indians. Only people doing black business or against India are crying. Take out candles from cupboards or burn your own candles to protest court decision.

In our the biggest problem is that, we have toooo much of freedom. Any vested interest, for his/her own vested interest , can twist and interpret the laws according to their whims. As for someone saying in India courts are also one of the centres of power.00% TRUE.Unfortunately the Courts are also one of the biggest centres of corruption. Guys like the writer are absolute narrow minded and will not see the bigger picture , bcoz it suits them. Instead of suggesting corrective remedies, they do not want the nation to cut red tapism, corruption, leakage of subsidies , anti-national activities. It is the sad story of the nation, where its own people are its biggest back stabbers. No use blaming politicans alone, bcoz they come from our midst and they are brought there by such narrow minded people like us, and the so called intellectuals like the writer.Shame on such writers.

Now with Adhar not linked to bank, Rohingyas who do not have PAN card he he, can freely get money from terrorists into their bank accounts, no questions asked. The terrorists in Kashmir and Manipur can do the same freely . Forget about terrorists, everybody knows the corruption going on in the police, judiciary too is not free from this. Kalikho Puls suicide note is not forgotten. So de linking adhar from bank accounts will freely allow corruption. It is unfortunate but India is the only country where Courts are a second centre of power. Even in the USA no court has struck down the Social Security card , being linked to bank accounts. If this govt comes to power in 2019, and gets a majority in the RS,. they should amend the law to prevent courts interfering in matters of national security.

PAN card stored by IT dept is a national risk..
Credit card issued by banks is a risk....
Ration card is a risk...
Living is a risk...
What is not a risk and what is the cost of that risk...if the benefits are much more than the risk, it is worth taking it...dont we do that in real life...?

If your money was lost from the bank, you would not have written all this... see sometime what happens when everything is linked to your aadhar.

I have accounts in 3/4 banks and I have given Aadhar everywhere. I produce Aadhar card everywhere to get SIM, book tickets. There is no problem for me. I will continue this in future as I wish to find out the consequences I would face. Till then Aadhar zindabad.
