SC has declared that Parliament should frame laws to bar those having serious criminal charges in contesting elections. Such will not happen as many of the present MPs are having criminal charges pending and by influence delaying the relevant hearings. The Chief Election Commissioner of India should discuss this with the main stream political parties and frame the relevant laws
Good shirking, politicians can never be united, they are different on common civil code, population policy, etc.,etc., how they can frame laws to control politicians. No one wants to come in accountability including SC and EC.
Easy to understand by both whether the case registered is politically motivated or genuine, accordingly decision to give power to contest election can be framed. But court should not shirk its responsibility and should not make the issue a shuttle cock.
It is natural that false cases are filed against a politician for political and various other reasons. The judiciary is not deciding on these cases for years together to give opportunity to them to contest elections because they are not convicted. So judiciary should have a rule to dispose off such cases within a time frame of three months, so Election Commission can decide on them whether to contest the elections or not.
We citizens of this country too expect that OUR judiciary must fast track the political cases and close the cases without giving any adjournments like what had happened in JJ Case. All cases must go diirectly to SC only s that these people don't mis use the judiciary hierarchy to delay their cases. Also it is possible that false cases filed by any one against the politicians should be taken against the persons filing the cases very seriously and he must be punished equally. Unfortunately moist of the political cases are hanging in the judiciary for decades.
Hon'ble SC has given a very tough job which is not likely to be done by any of the government. It is a moral duty of the citizens not to vote for criminal persons anymore. Moreover, anti nationals are more dangerous to the country as compared to criminals in the house.

Yes, very rightly said. Today they target the citizens, the masters of this great democracy in every possible way to extract taxes for their benefits and treat us like criminals. Political funding is the biggest secrecy of today's Political Parties'. These parties camouflage their wealth under the garb of Political Party Funding and keep the secrecy of their source. We pay for their luxurious life style and further for their security too. They control everything - Education, Business, Real Estate, Health Care .. what not? Look at the wealth of thes people who rule us..most of them are Core Pathis.
