When we got independence it was expected that politicians will live a straight and simple life. Many lived to that hope, but collecting fund for the party remained even before independence. When Gandhiji asked Bajaj that how and from where he was arranging money for all party functions his reply was Gandhiji please do not bother about that and you work for independence.After independence for nearly thirty years people like bajaj Birla Tata dalmia etc were controling the major industry of this country. Later politicians started amazing wealth for them also and as well to the party. Present PM is following the old style and making huge amount to his party which can spend money on him like water and he need not have any property. His living style is not like Gandhiji or Kamaraj.Let him live even a simpler life or rich life. Who bothers. Where he is taking the country is the question. I am not finding any good thing happening around me except loading me with taxes and burdening me with fuel price hike. Please stop boosting the image.

Anybody heading country can not live like ordinary people. Even if you visit Gandiji's Sabarmati ashram and surrounding land one can imagine he made ashram with huge money at that time when majority Indians were living in below poverty line.

Modi is not staying in hotels during his foreign trips,he is traveling two to three countries at a time and saving money of the country he is taking all the food from his salary,think about other politicians who are one time minster of any stateare having property more than 100crore,Modi is three time CM and since four year PM,with very less savings,above amount is less than income of a peon of a govt office who is serving for last 17 year.
Really surprised at the type of articles being put up by Rediff. Modi purchased a property in 2002 @ 1.5 lakhs and present market value is above 1 Crore. And Rediff claims that he is crorepati. If that is the yardstick, then every flat-owner in Mumbai and other major cities is a crorepati. Really disgusted at the moral bankruptcy of the writer.
