author of "Spies from space, an ISRO cover up", a book that mysteriously disappeared from shelves after his publisher was reportedly approached by IB men, said on a TV debate the other day that there is much more to the spy case than what is widely talked about.
He also said that it is certainly not an established fact that the ISRO really developed cryogenic engine technology on its own and that the Russians might have managed to get the knowhow transferred to ISRO despite the best efforts of the Clinton administration to prevent it !
This is certainly plausible considering how, while the US and the USSR took several decades to develop the technology, the Indians, after floundering heavily for about a decade and a half and getting nowhere, suddenly perfected it in the mid 1990s !

Just like Ram went for vanvas, Nambi went through, for a longer time. My poser is whether we can still use his brain in the unfinished task of cryo, with which we are still struggling, also any advanced research in this regard. Chandrayan and next Mangalyan should help us in identifying rare (earth) elements that are commercially visble to sustain these travels. Simultaneously, we should search our own sea-beds for any.

He is fighting for his dignity. I guess in your part of the country this form of malice is ok. Not where he comes from.
