Have u all ever thought of working like PM
by RAJ on Sep 19, 2018 04:35 PM

We all just abuse and mud sling on PM , but ever thought of the stress he must be undergoing. There are 4 dimensions in physics but he is bombarded from N-Directions. Internal / external/Finance/Defense/ SCST/ Politics/F Exchange / Nepal/China/Pak /US /Crude, BTW can anyone of u on this forum handle these complx situations or recommend any name to manage. I just manage a XXXX Cr company as a part of XXXXX Cr group and always get stressed . Yet I am patriotic and love my India. Just dont criticize him and do not expect moon from a person in such a short life. Jai Hind

Which Ambani
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Sep 19, 2018 01:23 PM  | Hide replies

"Do the Ambanis have what it takes to gather together the capital, technology, managerial talent and manpower to get the job done; and whether there is anyone else who can do it better than they can." The answer to this question by the author is that only one of the Ambanis have what it takes. Everyone knows that the other Ambani is deep in debt and has recently been bailed out by his brother in telecom.

The wrong Ambani seems to have been attached to Dassault.

Yes u may be right but HAL is all Govt investment. In this deal of 59000 cr , Dassault was asked to invest 50% in Indian defense eco system and they have chosen Reliance Aerospace. We all must track the result of this investment for next 5-10 years. I hope Reliance will also invest some money . BTW this venture will take care of services part of these aircrafts. I hope u all gentle man are aware. I am also one of the reader like u and an ordinary citizen . Jai Hind

Politics in Rafale Deal
by Kamlakant Tewari on Sep 19, 2018 11:29 AM

As a citizen of India I can only say that corruption in our country whether in UPA or NDA regime is not only boosging its roots but also taking a bigger shape in our whole system. This is the reason from Vajpeyee go Manmohan Singh to Modi Govt 20 years have already gone and yet we are doing politics . It means no one concerned with nation's security, it is corruption which do not allow us to think about nation. Modiji is also a politician and he is only interested to win election one by one. JPC for RAFALE DEAL
by B B Sharma on Sep 19, 2018 11:07 AM  | Hide replies

PM Modi has championed the belief that rule based frame work is superfluous when the tiller of security is in the hands of self - accredited desh bhakts. Any way following points need due consideration :
1. How it is claimed that under NDA deal per plane is cheaper by 20 % when two prices are not publically known?
2 When deal along with prices are not revealed to CAG , how to audit the whole process & how to release payments?
3.Any way France Govt. is under obligation to declare prices in their parliament so why hide here ?
4.Mr MACRON has indicated that his Govt has no objection if Indian Govt intend to reveal prices, secrecy is about technology & not price.
5 . In stead of another defence deal sinking in quagmire of misgivings , Govt. should discuss the whole deal in JPC & clear the cloud, if any.
6.If we can make Satellites & missiles like BROMOS in India why HAL can not manufacture Raffle under collaboration with French company
7. QATER had purchased 12 Rafale fighters in Nov. 2017 for Rs 694.6 crores / fighter jet. If Qater can disclose price why not India?
8 .The CCS did indeed approve the transaction before the contract was signed in 2016, but no CCS approval had been taken by Modi before his joint statement with Holland in April 2015, which committed India to buying 36 Rafales

While many of what you have written in its entirety could be correct and hence your question to be apt, I feel. ,giving this job to build the aircraft in india to Anil ambani is simply wrong.Such a project of national importance should not have been given to this man, who does not know to run any organisation properly and he is not capable of running this project

Definition of crony capitalism
by ponvel nadarajan on Sep 19, 2018 10:56 AM  | Hide replies

The author is changing the definition of crony capitalism. Crony capitalism occurs when the deal is rigged to benefit few who are involved in the rigging. No question of competency is involved. The author is relying on ridiculous arguments.

so you mean Reliance, who has been selected by Rafale directly for service, has rigged the deal ?

Can you please submit a proof.

So now you will question Rafale on what basis it is buying x, y and z parts also

Critics forget that there are very few people in the country that can take up a contract worth 30,000Crore. It would either be Ambanis, or Tatas or Adanis or Mittals and so on.
Second, while HAL has performed well by developing Tejas, its hands are full with manufacturing the large no of Tejas that the IAF has started demanding.

Sure friend if big houses are really interested then they should have come with proposal rather then Govt.facilitating the Capitalist to to just be a partner with no knowledge and no commitment but a middleman to transfer.Whether they have passed technology to him and he will assemble them in future for country or just make ..and forget.Next time new contract.Question is not a roadside vendor can supply these but what he has done to have this.Again loan from Public money and make money with bankruptcy after this.

If reliance with Zero infrastructure can scale up and build Rafael, HAL can also build infrastructure to make Rafael easier than reliance. I think defence should not be privatised.

The honourable defence minister openly states that HAL doesn't have the capability to produce Rafaele. After all these years producing a lot of MIG's, Jaguars and Mirages. So only the ambanis have the capability to put the colors of the IAF insignia.
The writer has forgotten his sense of impartiality and now writes nonsense to please his masters.
