let the govt divide the states once again based on new criteria: people wanting reservation state and people not-wanting reservation state and let the people decide in which states they want to live. All problem will be solved. People not wanting reservation will be happy to compete and get their goals. People wanting reservation will still get reservations and will understand the problem of people not wanting reservations.
Let our Govt take appropriate steps to remove the caste system from Hinduism. Then there wont be the requirement of caste based reservation. The simple solution for this is the implementation of compulsory inter-caste marriages. There would be more unity among the people after this and noone wld judge anybodyelse on the basis of caste or reservation.
We must get rid off as early as possible from this undemocratic, non secular evil of our democracy. Everyone has sympathy with poor, needy and deprived, present system bar every such person to take any advantage, as all advantage are snatched by grandsons of already benefited class, since reservation is on caste basis, actual needy is left behind. Similarly to make reserved constituency etc., is also against human rights, these reservations should be for parties to adhere to field reserved percentage not on constituency. Why voters are forced to give vote only to SC,ST or backward or women, they should be free to vote to whom they think fit. But parties must field desired members to contest.

Well we need reservation for illegal immigrants from Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Srilanka and many more. Reservations are required in Studies, Jobs in both Private and Public sectors and placement overseas. Reservations are required in Promotions. Reservations are required after retirement for pensions. Reservations are required for full creamy layer, half creamy layer and people with layers of cream. Reservations are needed in Politics and one party can be called as reserved party. The list goes on .......
When undeserving people are allowed to contest elections and elected, they will destroy the system.
Indian democracy is ruled by bunch of hooligans who descend in streets sloganeering.
Suppose, the other party, namely people who are against reservations unite and bring the fight to the scum bags who favor the quota system , then it will end.
Reservations are basic human rights violation where half the population are deprived of opportunities.
Government has to be clear in their minds whether they want to unite country or divide by caste, creed or religion etc. Every body should have equal right and opportunities.
This flaw in our constitution has to be corrected at the earliest.
It is very clear that after 70 years of independence reservations did no good to those tribes. in fact it made the system vulnerable to inefficient work practices. Thus it is a failed concept to be junked immediately.
If the government wants to uplift downdrodden they can do in many ways but why forceful entry in the name of reservations.
Reservations are bad in any walk of life.
Our country will progress with much faster pace if reservations are done away with at all education and jobs.

Who will abolish the reservation. In reality the upper caste are 20%. Only in a socialist authoritarian rule like China, one can go and abolish the system with iron fist. In so called secular republic of India the 80% lower caste, obcs and other tribes would overpower this change with a revolution. Do you think mayawati and that buffoon ramvilas paswan, lalu, mulayam and athawale types will sit quite. They will start a revolution and everyone will hit the roads with mass protect across nation...It is the price you have to pay to keep India into one piece and unfortunately we will suffer further down.
There has to be reservation on the basis of financial condition of family irrespective of cast. If the % of BPL is taken as basis, they should have priority in reservation. Children of those who availed reservation should be considered for reservation again on financial position and there should be no creamy layer concept.

Indian Politics has its base in reservation , religion and community. This was brought in by the British (who don't follow it in their country0 and our people have got hooked to it. This habit is very difficult to break as people have got used to it.
