half the Kerla Cm's fund diverted to Commie Election Fund. What can you expect. They wanted the whole world to contribute in currency. Other household materials they dont want.

The Rafale scam has played out and Modi govt govt is labouring hard to hide the massive breach of procedures it is guilty of. It was precisely to avoid or minimalise the scrutiny of the CAG that komaaaali Modi entered into the supposed govt to govt deal with France, did not consult the cabinet and skipped a host of other defence procurement procedures.
The Kerala CMDRF, on the other hand, is bound by the CAGs scrutiny terms and protocol !
Not a rupee can come in nor go out without the CAG coming to know about it !

Overall, a balanced article(not very common on rediffmail) about hopes and expectations from the new CJI. It is true that: "It would take herculean efforts to reverse the state of affairs and tackle the insurmountable arrears". It is not from one man-it is the entire team (judiciary, executive, legislature and also the media) to reform THE PROCESSES.The CJI will provide the leadership and direction 'to improve processes'. * Let us analyse how the processes are being improved or at least being modified in the RIGHT direction; say the processes related to the collegium's role. Howsoever bad a situation may be, the 'stairs' have to be cleaned from the top only. There is no way it can be done the other way. And I think, that is what is being done-by addressing the processes related to the collegium. * It does not mean that no other actions need to be taken. Surely many such actions are being taken. But how do the leaders know and assure the public that the direction is right. This can be best done by data based periodic but regular appraisals of key indicators.Such indicators should be decided by the top leaders (journalists can be included). These indicators should at the decided periodicity, as data-i e hard facts should be displayed e.g vacancies filled in the last 3 months; the oldest pending case in each court; no. of adjournments per judge etc. I understand that the process of appraisal of judges also has been/is being improved. This will also have its slow
The appointment of upcoming CJI, has put at rest the unfounded misgivings of section of media & opposition. The retiring CJI and the Govt. both have exhibited a mature, fair and democratic functioning of the institutions signalling that 'Democracy is safe' thus proving the gentlemen wrong. His presser and public gesture has been proved wrong.

Yes, most certainly, it is the wildfire reactions and dislike for what the govt.has been doing in past 5 years that has caused trepidation to the govt. Otherwise, it was not at all unlikely that Justice Gogoi would be sidelined and other RSS mole judge take over. I sincerely express full respect for Justice Gogoi and support him in every bold, forthright and correct decision on all matters, irrespective of whether there are any pressures either way from any one.
when was the last time this country has witnessed unbiased, objective and purposeful reporting ?
Corruption, nepotism, irregularities and scams. These are extremely detrimental to the health of ademocracy.
But when the media is of the standard of Indian media , the country is doomed. Media has become sickness which comes up with sick theories and propaganda day in and day out poisoning minds of citizens.
Every piece of article is a conspiracy theory or character assassination of person or mud slinging on government.
Media has brought the society to a point where society has become numb to what has happened. The media literally desensitized the society with their trashy analyses pieces, conspiracy theories , gossip and absolute toxic sh^t.

rediff is worst among them. they get cheque from 10 janpath. otherwise they would have been bankrupt.

Perhaps the giant IT trolls organizations paid from govt.money will come up for investigation, because no 10 Janpath can ever think of or match what BJP has already been doing. Get the clue why all taxes are going up and fuel will never come down?

Our society has been molded on the premise that every thing that happens in this country is an act of oppression, suppression and intimidation by the powerful. be it in elections, administration or in judiciary.
media spearheads this kind of trash theories and they are churned out day in and day out.
Do not justify the rebellion action by the four judges. the same thing when done by Maharastra Police why judges did not agree for that. Judges are supposed to show restrain in matters. Making this rebel as CJI is not a welcome move.
