where is the need for an opposition ! ! ! For 60-plus years, We saw politics of the kind this article reeks of ....GOVERNANCE that never existed then came into this Nation's life only the second time, that is, after Vajpyee's NDA. BJP-Led-NDA must continue for another term or two to take the billion-plus well-wishers of the Emerging New-India to a lasting sense of pride, self-respect and an absolute certainty of a minimum steady income to meet the needs of our aspiring youth and their families which BJP alone has the vision and capability of.

Born in the family of leaders , Rahul ji has genetic traits required to be a leader. He will be a good / charismatic/ natural/ thinker/positive leader. He is our youth leader and once he comes out of youth after 50 will be an excellent leader. Jai Hind

Chidambaram is a South Indian with out any knowledge of Hindi and many in Conghress won't accept him for PM's post.Rahul Gandhi is giving another chance to BJP ,by uttering some things irrelevant at times. As far Mamatha ,she is arrogant and her way of autocrity will not suit other party leaders.Other so called leaders are all irrelevant in the Opposition suitable for PM's post.BJP will come to power in 2019,though with smaller majority.

I think Srinivasan Raghavan wants to settle some old account with Chidambaram! In Congress nothing is more sacrilegious than having an ambition for something that is reserved only for the family! In Indian politics it is common to float theories through news articles and the family will believe it is Chidambaram who got Srinivasan Raghavan write this article!

anyone can join congress if you are willing to be corrupt and give the high-command its cut.....goveernance has never been the focus of colonial-congress which put a price -tag, legal or illegal, on every transaction goods or services....and a commission for executing the transaction ...the commission would be sshared by the long chain of dalals, middelmen, henchmen, commission-agents, touts right upto the kingpin...the high-command...worse than the british east india comapnay's record of looting and exploiting power. No wonder they are seeing their end now and desperately flapping their wings which have all been almost-fatally-wounded.

Unless there are electoral reforms, country will not have true democracy. Without true democracy, it will continue to become weak.
If less than 60% people vote, then those not voting should be fined; unless having good reason to not vote.
If no one gets more than 50% of votes polled, then there should be a second round between the top 2.

For example: If 70-75% polled - It could be taken as more percentage over that as- There are dual or multiple numbers are there in voter list - for example 1. deceased voters are not deleted unless otherwise are reported 2. If residence is shifted and informed at the time of enumeration, normally it is being added but not deleted in other place. 3. If employed somewhere far, people do not prefer to vote. I have been noticing some voters wait for long hours on the voting day expecting some favours would be given, finally if not given they do not vote.
