Veda, your brain has no capacity to understand any simple things. Do you know the progress of HAL all these years ? Under UPA, the French complany did not find HAL capable and informed the government accordingly and UPA government did not say anything in this matter.

Hi Vaidya,
HALs capabilities are suspect as it is not able to produce its own design Tejas. They currently has a capacity to produce only in single digits the whole year and which cannot even meet a miniscule of Indian demand. Withe participation of private players like L&T they will be able to produce about 24 units per year at full capacity and already has an order of about 120 jets from IAF apart from interest shown by other smaller countries. How are they going to produce additional units of aircraft for which they may need certain changes, ramping up capacity....

No doubt HAL is all capable , but the question is whether the support, infrastructure etc required for bulk production diversification of HAL has been given earlier, only in his year IPO of HAL has come and that too, LIC has to come to buy the majority of share in view of lesser faith of public in our Public Sector Giants. Things are changing HAL has taken lead in Research work with responsibility of making Tejus, LCH , sarang , The Dornier etc not only successful but worldwide required products.

One argument that BJP gives why they are paying 1000 crore extra than UPA ... Boca .. their jets are advanced.....
But anyone who has followed this deal will know that midi no in written has said that they are of same configuration of UPA
Now even if we believe that jets are different then who passed these jets.... as per procedure if any configuration is changed then army has to reevaluate the planes and whole process of bidding should start again and eurofighter should be invited again ...

it seems you are fit to your name. UPA started the process in 2001 and deal collapsed in 2011. now you want to start the process agan for 11 years and suffer the national security?

IT DOES NOT NEED ROCKET SCIENCE TO KNOW THAT THE PRICE ESCALATION IS JUST A LOOT, TO PLEASE HIS RICH FRIENDS, SO THAT THEY BECOME MORE RICHER, AND LOSS MAKING COMPANIES CAN BECOME PROFIT MAKING AT THE COST OF MONEY BELONGING TO INDIANS.
More BJP person speaks on Rafael more they dig the scam for themself.... if Hal which has already build Tejas are not capable... but reliance defense which has no experience is capable .... looks like BJP believe that in India everyone is fool
