During the Congress rule, the pulse price were between Rs.180 to Rs.220 per Kilogram. Why the Congress Party did not call for Bharat Bandh? During those days, Mr. Sharath Pawar said that there was no reduction of sales and consumption in spite of this high price. People are rich and can afford to buy pulses with high price. Then, why does he support for Bharat Bandh for fuel price which is not essential as fuel for common man? All these Bandhs are farce.

During UPA rule, fuel price in 2012 was 78.57 and subsidy was given of Rs. 1,61,029 crores. the price of fuel was 83.62 in 2013 after subsidy given was of 1,43,738 crores. under NDA in 2018, the price without any subsidy is Rs. moire than 80 . Do any one know that the present government also repaid an amount of Rs. 2,00,000 crores including interest of Rs. 70,000 crores borrowed buy the congress government under zupA against Oil Bonds ? This liabilty to repay the loan was inherited by the current government from UPAS who were very sure that they will never come to power due to huge financial scams.

WHEN THE BJP TOOK OVER IN 2014, CRUDE WAS 26 DOLLAR A BARREL, THE BJP HAS BEEN LOOTING SINCE THEN, DID THEY PASS ON THE BENIFIT TO THE AAM ADMI? BUT INSTEAD, RE OPENED ALL RELIANCE PETROL PUMPS WHICH WERE EARLIER SHUT. CAN THE BJP TELL WHO FUNDED THEIR 2014 ELECTIONS?

How long BJP would survive by passing buck to congress for all their acts of omission & commissions. After all BJP is ruling the country for more then 4 years & their present term expire in early 2019 so they are accountable for all the tall claims ( JUMLAS ) made to the voters in 2014 to garner support. They were not elected to blame the previous Govt for every thing .

FuelPrice Hike
by BALU on Sep 10, 2018 04:23 PM  | Hide replies

This Bandh call was not at all required each and every indian know how fuel price are increasing, due to taxes and entry fees, Let state govt.. reduce the tax or agree to bring it into GST then all the problem are solved , simply blaming MODI is unfair and undemocratic.

BJP is at the centre & rule all major states , so why BJP do not take the lead to bring petroleum products under GST instead of passing the buck to other states, If BJP take the initiative , others would automatically follow suit.

I am not a big fan or admirer of Narendra Modi .The last 4 years of his governance has both positives and negatives. The point i want to make through this forum is that Congress and the Left specially who are the front ends of the opposition(they call themselves so)should not talk or protest against anything because today's Bharat Bandh on fuel hike is nothing new as during congress rule also it was there and worst that a PM like Manmohan Singh never heard the common man's appeal and again the solution to this problem does not lie in protest but answering to a basic question that why in 50-60 years of congress rule we are not self-sufficient in energy why do we depend on other countries for fuel .All political parties especially the congress should answer this. The second point always raised is GST and demonatization ,during congress demonatization is not possible because all congress rules were marked with major corruption scandals so how can they take action against black money when they have people like chidambaram who are icons of corruption ,also GST was a Manmohan singh brain child which was implemented by Modi so if it is bad then Manmohan singh also should be blamed for GST .The other cry is about the faltering Banking system my submision here also is that the such crores of bad debts given to imposters like Mallya and Nirav Modi cannot happen in 4 years the rot started earlier and if a person like Chidambaram is heading the Finance Ministry the such scams are expecte
