We all know this but can others opposition leaders justify their source of wealth? Can cong. justify why they cannot find any president outside Gandhi dynasty? Can Arvind Kejriwal explain what alternate politics has he done after getting huge peoples' mandate? Can CPM explain why they wanted to capture all govt. institution in West Bengal when in power? Sadly we are not left with any proper politics and what is happening today worse is expected.
Section of media is instigating & confusing less literate and less wise,at the instance of their political masters for short term gain but should not forget,future of their children also lies in inclusive growth and prosperity for all.
Over-reporting of few incident and suppressing many others,writing for selected few clearly indicate that they are agents of divide and rule gang,trying hard for power vapasi. Section of Corrupt govt.employees,afraid & jealous of honest and working political dispensation have also joined their dirty hands in this game.
I read her articles which is always one sided. Why cannt she take opinion or their views. Then only we can give credit to such articles. Present article is written only to demean on caste over the others. It very prejudiced which is being encouraged by rediff. Firdaus, punwani and others are only interested in dividing the soc . They should change thier mind and write articles to unite our soc.

Killing and whipping dalits, breaking Ambedkar statues, diluting PoA, stopping the use of the word dalit in the media, calling a Bharat Band against SC/ST act, pretending that no caste exists are all steps taken to unite the society. Hypocrisy Unlimited.

The mahars were fighting FOR British. They were killed.
Assuming the head count is TRUE and like every thing else , is not not a fiction.
This begs the question what exactly is the under current intention. Otherwise , no idiot will believe that a bunch of "so called" Dalits in 2018 are celebrating an 200 year old event.
The issue here is Peshwa was a Brahmin. So, after 200 years, some weirdos felt it is apt to celebrate in commemoration of of British government foot soldiers who fought to kill their own country men ?
